Day 3 sailing to New Zealand and we’ve found an awesome spot to pull over, get some rest and wait for better weather. The winds died out this morning and even the spinnaker was struggling to keep us moving so we will drop anchor in Minerva Reef and take a few days to enjoy the peace and quiet that only the ocean can offer. Minerva Reef is a submerged island, an atoll with a protected lagoon that we can sail inside. There are 13 other boats all waiting here too - our own little community in the m
