Joan Crawford accepts Anne Bancroft’s Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 35th Academy Awards for her performance as Annie Sullivan in the biographical film ‘The Miracle Worker.’ Anne could not attend the ceremony, as she was starring in the stage play ‘Mother Courage and Her Children’ at the time.
