Yesterday, 33 individuals reported to the Louisiana State Police Training Academy for the commencement of #CadetClass103. For the next 24 weeks, cadets will receive instruction in various areas such as legal updates, constitutional policing, defensive tactics, advanced firearms, emergency vehicle operations, civil unrest, ethics, fair and impartial policing, use of force and the de-escalation of the use of force, and impaired driving detection to name a few. Although the road ahead may seem long
