Our flamboyance of flamingos is growing! The Bird House welcomed nine hatchlings between June 6 and June 21, and we’re happy to share that they are all thriving under the care of their parents. Welcome to the flamingo construction zone! Our flock of American Flamingos in the Multinational Aviary have been hard at work building nests. Flamingos build nests by scooping up mud in their bills and adhering it to the sides and top of the mound until it reaches the desired height and size.
