IMPERIAL VALLEY, Calif. (KYMA) - The doctors and nurses at Pioneers Memorial Hospital are pleased to announce the arrival of the first baby boy, and baby girl, of 2026 born in the Imperial Valley.

Lee County's first baby of 2026, Rowan White, was born at 12:49 a.m. on New Year's Day. The baby girl was born to Cape Coral residents Cheyenne Smith and Michael White at HealthPark Medical Center.
