Apple on Wednesday released an update to QuickTime, version 7.4.1. Available for download from the Software Update system preference, QuickTime is also available from Apple’s downloads Web site.

Using QuickTime 4.1.2 in Win2k sp1, no problems. Try taking out (and uninstalling) your 1mb cirrus logic card and see if you still get strange display behavior.
