A day after traveling from Minnesota to Afognak Island in Alaska for the opening day of hunting for Roosevelt’s elk on the island, Chase Parker, of Barnum, took down a 6-by-6 elk.
The pending world record elk, shot in Utah in September, is raising eyebrows for its huge size as well as concerns for the direction of trophy hunting.
